North Palm Beach County

People can name a great many reasons for choosing northern Palm Beach County as the ideal area in which to live, work, retire or vacation.  Take a few moments to consider all of the amazing things that this Treasure Coast jewel has to offer.

The area extending from Northlake Blvd. to the Martin county line has experienced tremendous growth since the 1980s, a pace which has been hastened by the transportation advantages of 1-95, Florida's Turnpike and u.s. 1. Another factor is its close proximity to Palm Beach International Airport.

People are drawn to the area by its ambiance. It has many waterways, plentiful golf courses, wonderful beaches and parks. Luxury waterfront condominiums and upscale gated golf and yacht club communities tempt visitors who are looking for a place to spend the good life.

Shopping is excellent due in part to upscale shopping centers such as the popular Gardens of the Palm Beaches and Oakbrook Square. The many restaurants located throughout the area could keep a food critic busy an entire year. New ones open and long-time favorites get better .
The area has good schools and state-of-the-art health care facilities. Branches of Palm Beach Community College, Barry University and Florida Atlantic University provide educational opportunities for students seeking degrees and adults interested in continuing education and self-improvement classes.

The area abounds in cultural opportunities. The 750-seat Eissey Campus Performing Arts Center features professional dramas, concerts and musical events. A regional library is located across the street.
