Quality of Life

The Florida Treasure Coast offers a special quality of life that makes it a choice location.  Quality of life is becoming more important as stress becomes greater in our day to day lives. People choosing to live on the Treasure Coast believe they have found a remedy.

Here, a small-town atmosphere prevails. So does a relaxed' laid back way of life. Its effect is calming on the people who live here and restorative on the people who vacation here.

A choice location with easy access to major highways makes getting places easier. Two-career families especially like what they find. They can get home from work quicker, live more casually and spend more time together as a family.

Most people can go to the beach, camp in a state park, play a game of golf or tennis, go deep-sea fishing, take a boat ride or go horseback riding at places less than 15 minutes away. Up north, most people tend to stay indoors six months of the year; on the Treasure Coast, people can enjoy the outdoors all year long.

Long-time residents take it for granted that they can commute to West Palm Beach or Melbourne. They also can easily reach cities such as Orlando, Cape Canaveral, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale Miami and even Freeport, Grand Bahama for one-day excursions to shop, dine out or see the sights. The Treasure Coast's proximity to major cruise ports is a big plus, too, for those seeking mini-vacations. The ports of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Port Canaveral are all less than two hours away and offer every- thing from one-day excursions to seven-night cruises.

Visitors, like residents, have discovered that they can stay on the Treasure Coast, take day trips to nearby attractions such as Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center or Cypress Gardens, and head back to the Treasure Coast without having to stay overnight in larger, more congested cities.

With waterfront dining, regional malls and a wide assortment of museums, galleries, sports and entertainment choices only minutes away...what more could you want?
